Chad’s Story
Chad has had a passion for not only mathematics but also for teaching since he was a kid! His excitement for helping others learn goes beyond his tutoring sessions - he is often explaining complex mathematical and scientific ideas to friends and family in a way that is easy for anyone to understand and become fascinated with. Helping people learn is not just a job for Chad, it’s really a part of who he is. He aims to have every one of his students find confidence in the course they are taking so they can succeed in the classroom and beyond!
His Tutoring Style
Chad has experience turning what some might find daunting into a subject of enjoyment for those he tutors! He is patient, engaging, and tailors his tutoring to each student's needs. He focuses on building strong foundations through clear explanations and real-world examples that make math simple and meaningful. The passion he has for helping others understand is not only encouraging to his students, but is also motivation for them to master their own math skills so they can become independent learners.
Chad understands that learning takes time and can’t always be contained to a single session, so he does his best to make himself available for questions and support outside of his scheduled tutoring sessions, in the event extra support is needed! With six years of tutoring experience behind him, Chad can help your child perfect their geometry, algebra, or calculus skills, just to name a few. The limit does not exist for Chad!

Education
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University, Chad continued his education by earning a master’s degree in mathematics with a concentration in teaching from Texas A&M University. He currently works as an aerospace engineer in the Palm Beach County area, putting both of his degrees to good use!
Experience
Before his current career in aerospace engineering, Chad worked part time in the math lab at Florida International University as a Math Learning Assistant (2015). He has been tutoring ever since then!
